Brandy Brock Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-Associate

Brandy Brock is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate at Cy-Hope Counseling. Brandy graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Houston-Downtown. Upon graduating from UHD, Brandy worked with at-risk families and children in foster care and then provided crisis intervention and emotional support to children and adults in schools.

Brandy completed her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. During the program, Brandy served as a practicum student at Cy-Hope Counseling providing counseling to children, teens, adults, families, and couples. Brandy also co-facilitated counseling groups for children and teens. Upon graduating from ACU, Brandy joined the Cy-Hope Counseling staff and is currently being supervised by E. Dawn Thompson, LMFT-S.

My approach to therapy is an eclectic approach. I draw in different styles of therapy to meet you where you are and accommodate your individual needs.

My mission is to empower you to build confidence, break through communication barriers and overcome challenges.

My Specialty

Over the years, I have worked with adolescents, adults, families, and couples. I believe self-reflection and empowerment are key factors in building healthy relationships and joining in effective dialogue. My goal is to encourage a healthy sense of self and build the confidence to navigate everyday life challenges.
